I’ve had numerous businesses over the years. For a long time, I believed that having a strong design background and offering a great service would be enough to succeed. I branded beautifully, delivered quality, and thought that would carry me.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was missing a crucial foundation, one that included my vision, purpose, and target market. I didn’t have clarity on who I was serving, where I was going, or why I was doing what I was doing. And because of that, I couldn’t communicate it effectively when it mattered most.
